Samurai shift forward, backward, right and left along the cells of the board. There is also the option to stay put.
It costs one action to shift one cell (except for the swamp cell, which costs two actions to pass). The number of available actions is set individually for each board. It can be increased by using Artifacts.
Players with more than one Samurai can divide their army into any number of troops and shift each troop separately. Each troop has a number of actions equal to the board's individual settings. That is, if the board allows four actions, then each troop can take four actions.
Although your Samurai can shift backwards, you cannot return to the cell that started your move.
One move is the sum of the actions taked by one troop and fixed by the "confirm move" button. Actions can be cancel, the move cannot be cancel.
